Group NODLABS just pred a 2007 French black-and-white animated anthology film named “Fears of the Dark”. Apparently, it is about the subject of fear. Since it’s black-and-white, I don’t think I’m gonna grab this one. English sub is included in the release.

PLOT: Different black-and-white animation techniques tell several scary stories. There’s a story of a teenage boy who meets the wrong girl. Another tale deals with a small community where people disappear and are never seen again. Then there’s the narrative of a little Japanese girl who suffers from horrible nightmares followed by a tale where a man doesn’t get the rest he hoped for in an old not-so-abandoned house. These stories are connected by the story about a man with a devilish smile and four enormous dogs from hell and by a woman’s monologue about her fears

Group SCARED released a little old skate video recently. Join The Dots is basically a homemade compilation of great skate tricks with decent music which got released widely by 22 year old fan from Australia.The video has only 30 minutes so it’s just a small 230 MB release.

Join the Dots is a Newcastle production put together by local Bryce Yates. With trendy design and cover-art, this video’s intro has you cringing at the gnarly slams these lads took filming for this vid - yikes! Join the Dots is well filmed and edited, with a good soundtrack and successfully showcases Newcastle’s rad skate scene to the world.

What I think about this USA series is that, the fist 2 seasons were so damn great, but since then, the show just kept disappointing me, until it welcomed its cancellation from USA. Yet I got to say the music featured in the show is excellent, especially the opening theme song. (It’s a pity that the song is too short.) Well here is a OST release from SAW I  want to recommend, enjoy!

The soundtrack features both the original version of A Place in Time (Theme from the 4400) and a brand new instrumental arrangement of it by The Landau Orchestra. It also includes more memorable songs from the series, like Switchfoot’s “This Is Your Life”, Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved”, Billie Holiday’s “Cheek to Cheek”, and much more.

Ten Inch Hero is an independent film completed in 2007. The film was directed by David Mackay and written by Betsy Morris.

Like I said yesterday, OST is another catrgory I’m gonna focus on the music post. Unlike MViD,, I will do it every few days. Compared with this year’s “Seven Pounds”, I personally think Will’s “The Pursuit of Happyness” in 2006 was much better, considering the same genre. And the music in that movie was great. That’s why I choose to post this in my first OST post this year. Back to last year, the OST was released in scene by SAW. (SAW like Jigsaw? ) Just take some time to relax to the beautiful music.
