If you’re familiar with underground hip-hop, especially on the more political side, I’m sure you’re familiar with Paris.  If you’re not familiar with him, he’s released six solo albums, a collaborative effort with Public Enemy, Rebirth of a Nation, and a very well received group album that featured Public Enemy, NWA’s MC Ren, and more.  Back to his own game, FTD brings us his sixth solo album, Acid Reflux, over a month before it hits stores.  With the implications of the upcoming presidential election, I’m eager to see what the writer of tracks like “Bush Killa” has to say about the current political situation.  If you enjoy alternative or underground hip hop, give this a shot.

Oscar Jackson, Jr. (born October 29, 1967), better known as Paris, is an American Hip Hop artist from San Francisco, California known for his militantly confrontational rapping, and especially the controversial tracks “Bush Killa” and “What Would You Do?”.
