Here is our Rlslog Heroes collection. This is my pick. … My first post in staff pick section and I hope you enjoy this. I love Heroes. You can say that I’m a fan but something is special in that tv show. Ordinary people finding out that they are extraordinary. New powers, abilities they use for good or for bad. Every hero can be a villain. That’s what I love in this show. Description:

Heroes is an American science fiction serial drama television series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. Mohinder Suresh, a geneticist, continues his late father’s research into the biological source of the change, while Noah Bennet represents a secret organization known only as the “Company”. While coping, each of the characters is drawn — willingly or not — into the Company’s conspiracy to control superpowered people, and into a race to stop an explosion from destroying New York City, which would kill millions of its inhabitants. The second season begins four months after the events of Kirby Plaza. Peter Petrelli, Matt Parkman, Nathan Petrelli, and Sylar have all survived the events of the season one finale, and are trying to return to ordinary lives despite their extraordinary abilities, with the exception of Sylar, who is on a quest to regain the use of his abilities. The main plot arc of “Generations” deals with the Company and its research on the Shanti virus. This research is explored through the Company’s founders, whose identities are revealed, as well as through the effects of various strains of the virus on The Haitian, Niki Sanders, Sylar, and others. An amnesiac Peter Petrelli observes the potential devastation of the virus in a future New York City. The “heroes” ultimately come together in an attempt to stop the release of a deadly strain of the virus and avert a global pandemic. Interwoven with the main plot are several secondary plots. SEASON THREE: “Villains”(info about new season)

Season three will open with a two-hour episode, set to air Monday, September 22, 2008. The premiere of the third volume, “Villains”, will be preceded by a one-hour clip show of the past two seasons. “Villains” was originally designed to be included within the second season; however, due to the writers’ strike, the volume was carried over into season three. The lead-in to “Villains” featured a scene with Sylar, which was shown as the final scene of the “Generations” finale. Throughout Volume Two, Sylar’s powers were suppressed by the Shanti virus. After using a cure, procured from Mohinder Suresh, he regained his abilities, delivering the first lines of Volume Three, “Villains”: “I’m back.” Tim Kring has claimed that the new volume will bring a cadre of villains to the show, hence the title. On December 5, 2007 at the Jules Verne Film Festival Adventure, Tim Kring showed a video-preview of volume three. According to an interview with Allan Arkush, filming for season three began on May 1, 2008. On May 9, 2008 a season three promo clip was released with hints at possible “inner villains” within the heroes. The promo stated, “In every hero there could be a villain,” before plastering the words “hero” and “villain” over the face of every major character. The characters Nathan and Niki, whose fates were unclear at the end of the second season, were featured in the promo. In July NBC began airing a teaser for season three featuring Noah Bennet talking to Claire stating, “This was before you were even born, I was finding these people and locking them away so that they couldn’t hurt anybody. Now its not very often a Korean drama is released by the scene so I’ve decided to make a staff pick. I Am Sam is a great series with some big name Korean star such as T.O.P from the Korean boy band Big Bang. I Am Sam has a lot of funny moments also well as the heart touching moments sure to please anyway even us guys as I see we have a very large female base out there ;). As u can see nothing good seems to come out of the scene, so I thought myself I might delight you guys with a Staff-Pick to pass some time. I have chosen this movie, because I was always fascinated by the attempt to capture the word “infinity” into graphical elements and the creators of Dark City have done a damn good job. By creating the never ending, always changing city you empathize quiet a lot with John, the main actor, who on his attempt to flee the city is never able to find rest. The same counts for you, this movie has one of the shortest average shot lengths (ASL) of any modern narrative production at 1.8 seconds. There is a cut almost every 2 seconds. This means you never get to analyze a scene properly, because the picture always changes and except that, there is almost total darkness everywhere anyway…

Ahhh, they just don’t make ‘em like this anymore. I must have seen this one like a dozen times, and each time it’s pure fun all over again. It has everything, ranging from visual effects that were way ahead of their time (and still rock), an engrossing storyline, memorable one-liners from Bruce Willis and Chris Tucker, zany humor all around, to one extremely appealing Milla Jovovich. The futuristic feel of this film is just brilliant, as there are so many innovative ideas put together here and wonderfully executed. The cast is phenomenal, with Willis, Oldman, Jovovich and Tucker all shining in their roles. I highly recommend “The Fifth Element” to anyone, not just fans of sci-fi.

I’ve seen this movie many times, and I was about to turn it off during the first half, but it got way better towards the end. American History X is one of my favorite movies with Edward Norton (right after the Italian Job ), and I felt like posting it on here. There were many different releases of this movie, and this one was the only one that I found a torrent and active NZB link for, so enjoy!

Quality: As the tag says, this includes AC3 5.1 audio which is as great as it gets, and the video is great too. Nice and typical res, with a very high bitrate and Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish subs.

Seeing as this movie was not posted on here before, and we all know it should, I decided to take the liberty of posting. This must be one of the best and most moving films I’ve ever seen, starring Russel Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix this movie won 5 oscars and another 45 different awards! I’ve never seen the extended edition for some reason but I did see the theatrical cut many times, and it was good.

Quality: This release is 170 minutes long but FiNaLe did a good job with this one, 1012kbps bitrate and typical 128kbps bitrate for the audio. Also there was a problem with the original release so the repacked CD1 is included in both the torrent and NZB so no worries. Enjoy

On a painfully slow day such as this, a staff pick from me is inevitable. This time, I chose to tell you about ‘Rounders‘. In the top 5 of every ‘best poker movies’ list, many think that this is the best poker movie there ever was. And I tend to agree. Almost every other movie about poker, that I’ve seen, portrays it as a game of luck and chance rather than skill and wits, and that just isn’t true. As Matt Damon put it so well: “Why do you think the same five guys make it to the final table of the World Series of Poker every year? What, are they the luckiest guys in Vegas?”. The movie is very well casted and acted out. It isn’t a feel-good comedy, and shows how life can bite you in the ass. Overall, ‘Rounders‘ is a must for every fan of the art that is poker, and an exciting watch for the casual viewer.

Anyone in the mood for a violent, funny, innovative crime thriller that doesn’t take itself too seriously? “The Boondock Saints” is my definition of a good time. The conflict between an impressive 7.8 on IMDB by over 51,000 people and just 19% on RT must prove something. Is it that critics are full of themselves to the extent that they can’t accept a movie that doesn’t pretend to be anything more than just that?
