A fairly popular comedy Drillbit Taylor with Owen Wilson in the main role is now available in the new screener released by group BaLD. This release means a significant improvement in terms of quality since the latest telesync, however it’s far from perfect. The VHS source fails to provide sharp image so this one is little blurred but overally very watchable full screen rip with nice colors.

When three high school students tire of being harassed by bullies, they hire a bodyguard named Drillbit Taylor to save them. Owen Wilson (WEDDING CRASHERS) stars as the tough guy of the title, who poses as a teacher at their school to keep an eye on the trio. Seth Rogen (SUPERBAD) co-wrote the film, while Judd Apatow earned credit as a producer.

Last time we posted bout this movie it was a CAM from group CAMERA. Now we get a SCR from group mVs! This is kinda of a low budget movie with it being filmed in a month. In my opinion the quality’s ok, check the samples to decide for yourself.

Yeah, we do not usually inform about non-scene releases but this Screener of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is so popular I dare to make a small exception. Besides, our comments are constantly spammed by comments talking about it. Almost everyone expected a Russian R5 rip of National Treasure 2 many months ago, but it hasn’t been released yet and it seems more probable we will see directly dvdrip than dvdscr or r5 rip. Anyway, this release offers a solid quality (if you consider it’s VHS source) in full screen resolution on 1 CD.

Martin Lawrence’s latest comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins has been brought to us in a full screen screener, which for most people is nothing to get excited over, and the 2.8 rating on IMDB is a big turn off. If you want to see this movie badly than get this release, but if you can wait for better quality, do so.

Quality: Its 4:3 as I already mentioned, but other than that, this release is pretty good. The nfo says that AC3 5.1 audio is included but when I run the file through GSpot, it says MP3 stereo, so the nfo is wrong. The video quality is pretty typical for a 2CD release with a res of 640×484 (nuke for bad res coming?) and a nice bitrate of 1434kbit/s.

Dr. RJ Stevens (Martin Lawrence) is a talk-show host who has built a mega-successful career for himself while simultaneously completely denying his humble Southern roots. Returning home for his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, the good doctor hopes to impress the small-town rubes who tormented him as a child with his fat bank roll and sophisticated airs. However, his family is completely unimpressed with how much of a snob Stevens has become and do their best to deflate his swelled head so he can rejoin the human race.

OPTiC brings us a VHS Screener of the Iron Man flick. From the sample, the video doesn’t look that bad, definitely a VHS screener, but I would say it is watchable if you can’t wait. The audio doesn’t sound that bad, so I guess that is a plus!

Plot:
Tony Stark is the complete playboy who also happens to be an engineering genius. While in Afghanistan demonstrating a new missile he’s captured and wounded. His captors want him to assemble a missile for them but instead he creates an armored suit and a means to prevent his death from the shrapnel left in his chest by the attack. He uses the armored suit to escape. Back in the U.S. he announces his company will cease making weapons and he begins work on an updated armored suit only to find that Obadiah Stane, his second in command at Stark industries has been selling Stark weapons to the insurgents. He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Stane from misusing his research

Group Universal came up with a PROPER for group SaGa’s VHS SCREENER of “Michael Clayton” just a short while ago. In the NFO, Universal claim that the first SCREENER was actually their source that got leaked. As you might have read on the previous SCREENER post, a few minutes were missing from the start of the movie. This PROPER contains the minutes previously omitted, according to group Universal. Be advised that this is not a DVD Screener and quality is a little poor in comparison. Also note that this is a FS (FULL SCREEN) release. Look at the sample snapshots to see if this quality is sufficient for you. I have to say that all in all, video quality looks decent. The audio is also decent despite it being analog.

A fullscreen (boo ) screener of Michael Clayton was just released an hour ago by SaGa. The reason for fullscreen would be VHS. The technology used to rip VHS that the scene grps use is very high tech, so you can expect they have extracted as much quality out of the screener tape as they could. Unless a R5 or DVDSCR without watermarks appears on the scene soon, I would get this version. The audio is analog, so not so perfect but the video is okay. Previous posts with plot details avail proper ts, ts, cam. alert: the first 4 minutes are missing, but no official nukes came yet!
